Hi guys. Sorry I haven’t been posting much in the way of new art lately. I have actually been having some health issues (nothing too serious, don’t worry!) and took a bit of time off work to rest and recuperate.
One nice thing about being sick (if there is a nice thing) is that you have lots and lots and lots of time to think. I started thinking of things I’d like to do when I feel better. That’s where YouTube comes it.
See, I’ve always wanted to publish some videos on YouTube. It seems like a natural extension of my shops and blog. But, like most of us Middle Aged Mamas, I’ve been intimidated to get in front of the camera.
What if my videos are terrible? What if nobody watches? What about trolls? TROLLS?!? (For the record, up until this year I still thought trolls were warty creatures who live under bridges near fairytale cottages… I know – I’m so lame.)
Anywho, after many years of thinking of it, and many months of talking my self into it, I took the plunge. I set up a little studio space in my office, bought a tripod and off we go! 🙂

I plan to set up channels for the same topics I post about on my blog – clipart and digital illustration, knitting, sewing, cooking, etc. I’m like a 1950’s housewife with an iPhone and Adobe software.
So there you go. My own YouTube Channel. It’s not hip. It’s not cool. I’ve got messy hair, no makeup and no production value. But I do have lots of creative ideas!! 🙂
